The 2013 Science and Technology "International Research" Thesis Prize was awarded to Gabriel Tamura (Colombia), from the SPI Doctoral School, hosted at LIFL for his thesis: "QoS-CARE: A Reliable System for Preserving QoS Contracts through Dynamic Reconfiguration".
The "International Research" thesis prize is organized by the International Actions Department of the Lille Nord de France Doctoral College, in collaboration with PRES establishments, regional laboratories and thematic Doctoral Schools.
It contributes to the international visibility of doctoral training in the Nord Pas de Calais Region, and offers the opportunity to distinguish young researchers trained in the region.
Two prizes are awarded each year:
an "International Research" Science and Technology Thesis Prize (€2,500)
an "International Research" Humanities and Social Sciences thesis prize (€2,500).
