A doctor at 17!

On April 20, 2018, Hugo Sbai became the youngest doctor at the University of Lille. Hugo Sbai's entire career has been marked by an uncommon precociousness. He passed his baccalauréat at the age of twelve. He then entered the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), graduating with a master's degree in computer science at the age of sixteen. At the same time, he prepared a master's degree in law at the University of Paris 1. He then began a doctoral thesis at the Centre de Recherche en Informatique, Signal et Automatique (Cristal), a joint research unit involving the University of Lille, CNRS and Centrale Lille. Enrolled at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), he completed his thesis under the supervision of Samy Meftali in the Efficient Dynamically Reconfigurable Hardware Architecture for Cloud/Fog Computing (EAST) team (....).
