Special track

Multiobjective metaheuristics for production systems

Multiobjective optimization allows being closer to real industrial problems. In the latters, decision makers are generally asked to optimize different criteria simultaneously in order to remain competitive in the market. These criteria are from different natures (economical, technical, environmental …) and often contradictory. The resolution of these problems is not an easy step which explains the continuous interest by the operational research community. In addition to that, metaheuristics are known to be efficient tools to solve hard computational problems in reasonable execution times. This goal of this track is to present the recent trends in the application of multiobjective metaheuristics to solve production systems optimization problems. It gathers the following special sessions:

  1. « Multiobjective production scheduling », proposed by, Frédéric Dugardin, Farouk Yalaoui and Caroline Gagné
  2. « Multiobjective metaheuristics for joint scheduling maintenance optimization », proposed by Mustapha Nour El Fath, Faicel Hnaien and Farouk Yalaoui
  3. « Lines design : multiobjective optimization», proposed by Alexandre Dolgui, Alice Yalaoui and Hicham Chehade
  4. « Multiobjective metaheuristics for reverse logistics problems », proposed by Matthieu Godichaud, Alice Yalaoui and Lionel Amodeo
  5. « Multiobjective optimization of warehouse management problems », proposed by Zaki sari, Farah Belmecheri-Yalaoui and Lionel Amodeo
