Pierre Pericard, a PhD student in the MSV Thematic Group’s Bonsai team, was awarded the prize for best oral presentation by the Société Française de Bioinformatique at the JOBIM conference. The prize was awarded for Pierre’s work on the reconstruction of phylogenetic markers in metagenomics.
