To efficiently combat cancer, reliable diagnosis and prognosis methods are needed to detect early and select the best treatment to optimize the chances of recovery. It is not clear however on which support the decision should be based, any many different types of medical data exist ranging from imaging to genes expression. Nonetheless, images are an indispensable part of the clinical routine, from diagnosis to tratment planning and reponse monitoring. Image-based predictive models have bene developed for almost all form of cancer and for an type of target information (subtype, response, recurrence,…). In talk I will present two types of applications of image-based predictive models for medical images. These works are part of two ongoing research project covering different field of healthcare.
